Wall Street trade group sues over Dodd-Frank rule The Loan Syndications and Trading Association is asking a federal court to strike down rules requiring banks to retain some risk on their books when they scrutinize loans, according to the Wall Street Journal. The rules are a key provision of the 2010 Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform law. In a statement on its website, the association said it had tried to work with regulators to find a practical solution to problems with the rules, but to no avail.
