Finseca, an association for professionals in the life insurance and financial security industry, announced Monday that members of Forum 400 voted "overwhelmingly" in favor of a merger. Forum 400 brings together the highest performing life insurance advisers to share strategies and ideas, according to its website.
Finseca CEO Marc Cadin told CEO Update that the integration of Forum 400 will occur no later than the end of the first quarter of 2022. An integration task force with members from Finseca and Forum 400 will work together over the next several months on branding, legal, technology, member benefits and other issues. Forum 400 will function as a community on Finseca's platform with a separate board of advisers, Cadin said.
Running Forum 400 will shift from an association management firm to Finseca. Still to be determined: What functions will be taken on by Finseca's current staff and what will be handled by a couple of new hires, Cadin said.
"This will be the fourth organization that Finseca has brought together that wasn't previously connected," Cadin said.
The Association for Advanced Life Underwriting and GAMA International merged last year to form Finseca. Also last year, Finseca launched its first state chapter in New York.
