Global food and beverage manufacturers who ship products using their own railcars have formed a new trade group. The Private Railcar Food and Beverage Association was formally announced in September, reports Railway Age. The group was incorporated in January with 12 "charter members." Since then, one more company has joined and other company memberships are pending.
Members will meet in person or by phone to discuss opportunities and solutions for railcar service improvements. They will also collaborate with other trade associations on industry changes and regulations. http://bit.ly/2cWK8fU
