Wright named permanent CEO of realtor group
The National Association of Realtors announced Nykia Wright, who has led the $328M-revenue organization on an interim basis since November 2023, has been appointed permanent CEO.
“I am thrilled Nykia is staying on board to lead us through this time of transformation,” said 2024 NAR President Kevin Sears. “She has been instrumental in leading us up to this point, and her unwavering commitment to our members make her the ideal steward for guiding our association through the evolving real estate landscape."
Prior to being named interim CEO in 2023, Wright was CEO of the Chicago Sun-Times. She joined the publication in 2017 as chief operating officer before taking the helm the following year. Previously, she held strategic consulting roles at firms Huron Consulting Group and North Highland.
She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Carnegie Mellon University and masters’ degrees from the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, India and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Micklos to lead care organizations group
NAACOS, the National Association of ACOs, announced Jeff Micklos will succeed the retiring Clif Gaus as president and CEO this fall. Gaus co-founded the $5.5M-revenue organization and has led since.
“Ultimately Jeff was chosen for his knowledge of value-based care, demonstrated success achieving association goals, and well-respected reputation in the value-based care community,” said NAACOS Board Chair Emily Brower. “We are looking forward to Jeff’s leadership to execute our new strategic plan that will expand NAACOS membership and mission, enhance learning and education, and increase engagement with other health care stakeholders.”
Micklos has been executive director for the Health Care Information Task Force for the past nine years. Previously, he spent 11 years at the Federation of American Hospitals, most recently as executive vice president of management, compliance and general counsel. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at law firm Foley & Lardner.
He has a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Villanova University and a law degree from The Catholic University of America.

Business Roundtable—Jonay Holkins has left her role as senior director of policy and corporate initiatives at the $63M-revenue Business Roundtable. She has founded D.C.-based consulting firm Trendline Strategies.

Alliance for Automotive Innovation—Lindsay Abate has joined AAI as director of technology policy. She is an adjunct professor at the George Washington University’s Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration. Most recently, she was manager of regulatory policy and government affairs at Apple.
American Health Information Management Association—Dana Perrino has been promoted from vice president of membership to chief member services officer of $36M-revenue AHIMA. Perrino joined the group in 2021 from the Institute of Internal Auditors, where she was vice president of North American membership and stakeholder relations.
American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association—Nicole Brewin is joining $7.5M-revenue ASLRRA as vice president of congressional affairs. She was most recently vice president of government affairs for the Travel Technology Association. Previously, she spent nearly 23 years at the Railway Supply Institute, where she was senior vice president of government and public affairs.
Consumer Brands Association—$20M-revenue CBA announced several additions to its leadership team.
Erin Raden has been named senior director of state affairs for CBA. She has spent the past three years at The Toy Association, where she was senior director for state government affairs.
Sarah Gallo has been promoted from vice president of product policy to senior vice president of product policy and federal affairs. She joined the group in 2022 from the Biotechnology Innovation Organization, where she was vice president of agriculture and environment.
John Hewitt, who joined CBA in 2011, has been promoted from vice president of packaging and sustainability to senior vice president of packaging and sustainability and head of state affairs.
National Contract Management Association—Brian A. Weiss has been appointed chief operating officer of $9M-revenue NCMA. He joins the group from the American Management Association, where he was vice president of emerging business growth. Previously, he was chief strategy officer for the Risk Management Association. Earlier in his career, he spent 11 years at the Project Management Institute, where he was a vice president.
