The Fancy Food Show 2021 will be held at the Javits Convention Center. The decision follows consultation with city, state and Javits Center officials as well has health experts, SFA said in a statement Tuesday.
Another association also announced that it is postponing its in-person annual meeting by six months.
The Radiology Business Management Association's meeting had been scheduled for April 11-14 in Las Vegas but will now move to Oct. 17-20. RBMA said the postponement will allow attendees to focus on the conference's programming, rather than the pandemic, and allow more time for preparation.
"The longer-lasting developments surrounding COVID-19 have made it imperative to postpone the April 2021 PaRADigm Conference," Executive Director Bob Still said in a statement.
