Associations respond health care mandate delay Several associations welcomed news Monday that the Obama administration had decided to delay a key provision of the Affordable Care Act, giving many businesses more time to prepare for the upcoming change in law. The U.S. Department of Treasury said businesses with 50 to 99 employees would have until January 2016 to comply with the ACA's employer mandate of providing health insurance or face penalties.
