Restaurant industry enlists Nobelists against higher minimum wage The National Restaurant Association was behind a letter signed by 10 Nobel Prize-winning economists in January opposing an increase in the minimum wage to $10.10, Bloomberg BusinessWeek reported. An outside lobbyist for the NRA circulated the letter to economists, the magazine reported.
