Chicago loses out on 2016 BIO trade show The world's largest biotechnology trade show will not return to Chicago's McCormick Place in 2016, with the association that manages the show choosing San Francisco instead. Monday's announcement by the Biotechnology Industry Organization came as a blow to Chicago officials, who had lobbied hard for the 2016 show, according to the news publication Crain's Chicago Business.
