Judge rules against farm groups in pollution case The American Farm Bureau Federation said Monday it was "deeply disappointed" after a federal judge ruled that the Environmental Protection Agency acted within its authority when setting new water pollution limits for Chesapeake Bay. At issue were new rules governing wastewater and agricultural runoff for rivers and streams in several states.
