U.S. Travel seeks greater investment in customs A new report by the U.S. Travel Association makes the case for greater investment in U.S. Customs and Border Protection, saying travel delays for visitors entering the country have cost the nation 518,000 jobs in the past five years. The report, released Wednesday, acknowledges that there are many factors behind the delays, but said the federal government should focus on the one it can somewhat control by giving CBP more resources.
