Report: More companies disclosing association contributions A growing number of large American companies are opening up about their political contributions to groups such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, according to a report released Wednesday. The report found that among the top 200 companies in the S&P 500 Index, 60 percent now require some form of public disclosure about any political contributions heading to associations and other nonprofits.
