Association designs state campaign against ‘smurfing' The Consumer Healthcare Products Association announced Tuesday it has joined with Indiana state officials to launch a campaign against people who buy pseudoephedrine only to sell the drug to methamphetamine manufacturers, a practice popularly known as "smurfing." According to the association, the state's new voluntary Anti-Smurfing Campaign was developed by CHPA to educate potential "smurfers" on the consequences of making illegal purchases.
