The Toy Industry Association is moving to a new location in New York City, though the group will remain on Broadway.
TIA recently signed a 10-year lease for 16,833 square feet of office space at 1375 Broadway, located between West 37th and West 38th streets, according to a statement by Herman and Hochanadel, the tenant representation firm that worked for the association in lease negotiations. The new offices are less than a mile north from TIA's current headquarters at 1115 Broadway.
TIA will be located on the 10th floor of a 26-story office building erected in 1928. Real estate investment firm Westbrook Partners purchased the building for $310 million in 2015, according to Real Estate Weekly.
Lease agreement terms were not announced. TIA has not said when it plans to move into its new offices. http://bit.ly/2c7P8x8
