The Wireless Infrastructure Association will launch a new version of its existing conference and trade show in 2018 that will bring together leaders from multiple industries, the Alexandria, Va.-based group announced Tuesday.
The Connectivity Expo—or "Connect (X)"—will "bring together the buyers and sellers of connectivity solutions and showcase the latest innovative technologies and vital infrastructure driving the future of communications," WIA said in a statement. The inaugural show is scheduled for May 21-24 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C.
"We created Connect (X) to reflect a new world where wireless infrastructure connects everything - from the traditional macro towers that remain the center of the connectivity universe to the Internet of Everything and beyond," WIA CEO Jonathan Adelstein said.
Connect (X) was previously called the Wireless Infrastructure Show. http://bit.ly/2gP7dlW
