In its annual competition recognizing excellence, the American Society of Business Publication Editors has named CEO Update the Newsletter of the Year.

Founded in 1964, ASBPE is the professional association for full-time and freelance editors, writers, art directors and designers in the business trade and specialty press. The group has chapters in cities nationwide, including Chicago, Boston, New York, Kansas City, Cleveland and Washington, D.C.

The organization is widely known for its annual Azbee Awards of Excellence competition, which recognizes the best in editorial, design and online achievement. Newsletter of the Year is the association's newest award.
