Fred Becker, CEO of the National Association of Federal Credit Unions, says he has two words of advice for association leaders looking to maximize access to key government officials: Stay proactive. That means that an association must start at day one when a new political administration takes over, and identify agency positions that will be important to the groups issue focus.
