As CEO enters second year, American Wind Energy Association faces financial, industry, political and environmentalist headwinds Kiernan The wind has not been at the back of the American Wind Energy Association in the past few years. Revenue at the Washington, D.C.-based group fell to $31 million in 2012 from $34 million in 2010.
