CTA, NACDS get Best Workplaces for Commuters nod

Two major Washington, D.C.-area trade associations have been named 2018 Best Places to Work by the Center for Urban Transportation Research's Best Workplaces for Commuters program. The $110 million-revenue Consumer Technology Association and the $42 million-revenue National Association of Chain Drug Stores, both based in Arlington, Va., were among 200 employers honored. "We understand and take satisfaction in alleviating challenges that our employees face when it comes to traffic congestion and concerns for reducing emissions on their daily commute," CTA CEO Gary Shapiro said in a statement.
