Doyle retiring from Vinyl Institute, eyes continued industry role

Dick Doyle Dick Doyle, a veteran of more than four decades in association management, is semi-retiring from the $5 million-revenue Vinyl Institute by year end. He has led the group since 2011. Heidrick & Struggles is assisting in the search for his replacement. Doyle said discussions are underway for a continued role in the industry, as a consultant to VI or as a strategic adviser for the Global Vinyl Council, an informal group of national and regional vinyl associations.
