D'Uva named AASLD head

D'Uva The $20M-revenue American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases has appointed Matthew D'Uva as CEO, effective Jan. 21. He succeeds Steve Echard, who became EVP of the American College of Rheumatology in June. D'Uva joins the Alexandria, Va.-based AASLD from the $6M-revenue International Association for the Study of Pain, where he has been Executive Director since 2015. He previously was CEO of the $2.1M-revenue SOCAP International, a group representing customer care experts.
