Fertel to retire from Nuclear Energy Institute

Longtime nuclear energy advocate leaves at a time when industry is facing many challenges in the U.S. Nuclear Energy Institute CEO Marvin Fertel will retire at the end of 2016, stepping down from an organization that has at times struggled to raise political support for nuclear energy amid fierce opposition from activists.
