Head of auto dealers group departs for the private sector

Brady led National Automobile Dealers Association during a time of industry upheaval that took a toll on the organization. Phillip Brady, president of the National Automobile Dealers Association for more than a decade, is leaving the McLean, Va.-based group in August to coordinate lobbying for petrochemical company Phillips 66. Brady Brady joined NADA in 2001 and led his group through some of the toughest years in memory, when dealerships across the nation closed in the fallout of automaker bailouts.
