Newly approved bill differs from version Senate passed in February; the two measures now must be reconciled in committee The U.S. House of Representatives March 3 approved a legislative repeal of a new IRS Form 1099 paperwork requirement by a 314-112 vote. Since the House-passed legislation differs from the version passed by the Senate Feb. 9, the two bills must be reconciled by a House-Senate conference committee before the measure can be signed into law by President Obama.
