MPAA extends Chris Dodd's contract to 2018 The Motion Picture Association of America announced June 5 that its board extended the contract of CEO Chris Dodd to 2018. Dodd, a former Democratic U.S. senator from Connecticut, was named head of MPAA in 2011. He replaced Dan Glickman, who led the group for six years. Dodd earned more than $3.2 million in 2013, according to MPAA's most recent tax filings. The contract extension comes amid reports that MPAA is considering a major retooling of organizational structure, prompted in part by a slow response to last year's Sony Pictures hacking scandal.
