Garcia Departures Loughlin to exit ASME Thomas Loughlin will step down as executive director of the $104M-revenue American Society of Mechanical Engineers sometime in the next few months. The New York City-based group plans to name his successor by spring 2018. Loughlin has led ASME since 2008 and has been at the group for nearly 25 years. Before joining the society in 1993, he was co-founder of Security Techniques Inc. and chief engineer at the Securitas Lock Group. Recruitment firm Russell Reynolds Associates will assist in the search.
