Baker to depart Managed Funds Association at year's end

Former congressman and financial industry critic led hedge fund industry group through time of new regulations, Great Recession Baker Richard Baker, who has been CEO of the Managed Funds Association since resigning from Congress 11 years ago, plans to step down from the $20 million-revenue group at the end of 2019. The CEO announced his departure during a March 20 speech to the Exchequer Club of Washington, D.C.
