Thirteen-year CEO of food commodity group quietly departs after policy setbacks; Courtney Gaine named interim CEO Briscoe Saying he wants to pursue new opportunities, Andy Briscoe has resigned as CEO of The Sugar Association after leading the $13 million-revenue group for more than a decade. Courtney Gaine, the association's vice president of scientific affairs, has been named interim CEO. Briscoe's departure was announced in a Jan. 13 blog post on the association's website.
