College stores choose new CEO

Association taps university administrator for its next leader Walton The $41M-revenue National Association of College Stores has named Robert Walton CEO, effective July 1. He succeeds Brian Cartier, retiring this month after leading the Oberlin, Ohio-based organization for 18 years. Walton currently is VP for finance and administration at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He previously was CEO of the Claremont University Consortium, which provides shared institutional support services to the seven Claremont Colleges in California.
