Cressy helps execs get wise in the ways of Washington

Former CEO of the Distilled Spirits Council promotes learning opportunities, meeting facilities for associations at Mount Vernon Association leaders could learn a lot from George Washington. So says Peter Cressy, who retired as CEO of the Distilled Spirits Council Dec. 31 and started a new position at Mount Vernon a few days later. Cressy works with the George Washington Leadership Institute—housed in the 45,000-square-foot library next to the estate—on programs aimed at inspiring board members and executive teams, both at associations and corporations.
