Diabetes group head optimistic on health care, research

The American Diabetes Association, under the leadership of Larry Hausner, is poised to make significant policy gains for its stakeholders. ADA’s latest win came in the first two months of the Obama administration, when the ban on federal funding of stem cell research was lifted.
