During Merger Talks, Dooley Top Pick for GMA Job

Members of Food Products Association and Grocery Manufacturers Association still must vote on a merger of the two organizations, but there’s one topic their top executives already seem to agree on: the selection of Cal Dooley to lead the combined trade association. While merger talks were ongoing, GMA retained executive recruitment firm Spencer Stuart to handle the search to replace outgoing CEO, C. Manly Molpus, who announced he would retire on Dec. 31, 2006.
