Gordon gets top spot after leadership shift

Gordon The $25 million-revenue American Health Information Management Association has picked Lynne Thomas Gordon as its next CEO roughly five months after a leadership shakeup led to the departure of the top two officials at the Chicago-based organization. Gordon, who will take up her new post Sept. 29, most recently was associate vice president for hospital operations and director of the Rush Children’s Hospital at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
