Grella exits U.S. Travel, Barnes promoted to top lobbyist

Grella, left, and Barnes Jonathan Grella has stepped down as executive vice president of public affairs at the $33 million-revenue U.S. Travel Association but will continue to work with the group in a consulting role. Grella joined U.S. Travel in 2013 after having spent three years as director of communications for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He previously was senior vice president, communications and strategy, for Securing America's Future Energy and also worked for public relations firm Edelman.
