IPAA moves into 85th year with new energy

CEO Russell in his 35th year at association IPAA CEO Barry Russell recently rung the NASDAQ closing bell in honor of the association's 85th anniversary. The Independent Petroleum Association of America has been plugging along for more than eight decades and President and CEO Barry Russell has been there for 35 of those years. Russell joined the Washington, D.C.-based IPAA in 1980. Before he was appointed president in 2000, he was the association's executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
