COO Katie Smith Sloan tapped by board of directors to replace retiring CEO Larry Minnix Sloan Katie Smith Sloan has been promoted to CEO of the $19 million-revenue LeadingAge, an association of nonprofit organizations that provide services for the elderly. She will replace Larry Minnix, who is retiring at the end of the year after having led the association since 2000.
