Medical group managers choose Turney to lead

The $27M-revenue Medical Group Management Association and its credentialing and standard-setting body, American College of Medical Practice Executives, have chosen Susan Turney to become CEO later this year. Susan Turney Turney will officially take office in early October, succeeding current CEO William Jessee, who is retiring in September after 12 years with the organization. The Englewood, Colo.-based association currently represents 22,500 members. Turney will oversee the strategy and operations of MGMA, ACMPE and affiliated organizations.
