Mining CEO out as industry confronts tough challenges, calls for major reforms

Kraig Naasz leaves NMA with safety and environmental legislation on the congressional horizon. August 22, 2008 The National Mining Association has abruptly split from its CEO, just as the trade group prepares to bolster its lobbying force to counter several industry challenges and dramatic changes proposed to the General Mining Act.
