Miss America taps former association leader as new CEO

Hopper Two-time association CEO Regina Hopper is the new chief executive of the Miss America Organization, part of the first all-female leadership team for the competition and scholarship program. Women now also chair the boards of the main Miss America organization and its foundation. Hopper's appointment as both CEO and president was announced in May. The previous CEO and previous president, both men, resigned after emails that disparaged contestants became public in December.
