Parking associations announce merger

By Walt Williams The San Diego, Calif.-based National Valet Parking Association will be absorbed into the larger National Parking Association at the end of the year, both groups have announced. The membership of $46,000-revenue NVPA will be absorbed into the $1.5 million-revenue NPA by Dec. 31. NVPA members will start receiving NPA benefits and welcome materials on July 1, although the organizations will remain separate legal entities until the end of the year.
