Profile: Fred Webber, Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers

After a career leading high-profile associations, including the American Chemistry Council and the U.S. League of Savings Institutions, Fred Webber almost retired in 2002. In 2004, he answered the call to lead the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers on an interim basis as the organization conducted the search for a permanent CEO.
