Sommers to lead Private Equity Growth Capital Council

Former Boehner chief of staff praised by both Republican and Democratic leaders, pledges to engage policymakers on industry issues Sommers The Private Equity Growth Capital Council has tapped former U.S. House Speaker John Boehner's chief of staff as its new CEO. Mike Sommers, 40, will join the $8 million-revenue organization in February. He replaces Steve Judge, who stepped down in August after having spent the previous two-and-a-half years battling cancer.
