He will step down Jan. 3, 2023, according to an announcement. Martino, a registered radiologic technologist, joined the association in 1999 as director of education following a 20-year career in academia. He became CEO in 2009.During his tenure, the association grew to nearly 158,000 members, expanded its national headquarters in Albuquerque, N.M., and more than tripled reserves to $71 million in 2021.
