Whitaker to succeed Ubl as CEO of AdvaMed

Current COO of Biotechnology Innovation Organization to head association representing medical device manufacturers Whitaker The Advanced Medical Technology Association has tapped the second-in-command of the nation's largest biotechnology association to be its next CEO. Scott Whitaker will join the $32 million-revenue AdvaMed as president and CEO April 4. He is currently COO of the $67 million-revenue Biotechnology Innovation Organization.
