Women nonprofit leaders gain pay parity, report details

Women CEOs are gaining pay parity in nonprofit organizations and hold half of the CEO jobs in nonprofit groups with annual revenue of $1 million or less, according to a compensation report released in October from Guidestar, a clearinghouse for nonprofit and association tax and compensation data. The 2007 GuideStar Nonprofit Compensation Report shows more pay gains for women who have ascended to the top level of nonprofit groups.
