ITI board favors TechNet talks

The board of the $9 million-revenue Information Technology Industry Council voted July 11 to move ahead on merger talks with $7 million-revenue TechNet. ITI Vice President of External Affairs Tom Gavin noted the board approved negotiations rather than any actual deal. “The board voted to move forward with discussions with TechNet to identify the best ways to consolidate the strengths of the two organizations,” he told CEO Update.
