Manufacturing tech group taps industry exec as CEO

AMT-The Association for Manufacturing Technology has selected industry veteran Douglas K. Woods as president. A familiar face to members of the $18-million association that represents U.S. builders of manufacturing systems, Woods served on AMT’s board from 2000 to 2008, including his one-year stint as chairman in 2005.
