McCurdy to retire from American Gas Association in 2019

CEO has led three groups in association career spanning nearly two decades; $34 million-revenue group to begin search for successor McCurdy Dave McCurdy will retire as CEO of the American Gas Association in February 2019, the $34 million-revenue group announced March 14. McCurdy's retirement will cap a two-decade career in associations. Before joining AGA in 2011, he was CEO of the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers for four years and head of the now-defunct Electronic Industries Alliance for eight years.
