Meat groups merge; sign associations align

Two trade groups representing meat packers and processors officially tied the knot Feb. 10, while two associations representing the sign industry have agreed to share resources but will remain separate entities. The Oakland, Calif.-based National Meat Association and the Reston, Va.-based North American Meat Processors Association will combine July 1, according to a joint statement from both groups.
