Medical education group changes name

The Alliance for Continuing Medical Education has changed its name to the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions, saying the rebranding reflects recent changes in health care. The $3 million-revenue, Birmingham, Ala., group represents more than 2,200 professionals who develop and implement continuing education programs for a range of health care providers.
