NAM cancels June summit, ends annual fly-in

More 'outside-the-beltway' events in the works The National Association of Manufacturers is ending its annual fly-in, a signature event that brought 400 people to Washington, D.C., each year for meetings on Capitol Hill. The Rally for Manufacturing had been scheduled for June 19-20. NAM will focus instead on more efforts outside Washington and on smaller-scale fly-ins with targeted legislative objectives.
